Our new theme is "Going Places".
Our new story is "Fishing Bears".
Our focus skill is adding er and est.
Our focus strategy that good readers use will be "following the plot".
Our spelling words are: find, kind, mind, mild, child, wild, day, play, sure and son.
Our vocabulary words are: both, during, and ready.
We need to practice finding the main idea.
We will study all about bears!

We will study the long vowel sound /e/ spelled with "e", "ee" or "ea".
